With her musicality and feeling for jazz, she was among the best pop singers of her generation. Grethe’s voice is driven by saudade, a Portuguese term meaning a kind of enigmatic longing.

Married to Jørgen Ingmann from 1956 to 1975. Together, the couple won The International Eurovision in London in 1963 with ‘Dansevise’.
